A small seed was sown on 17th March 1977 on Ugadi, Telgu New Year Day as “Hyderabad Special School for Children in Need” of special care, which has grown and developed as a model rehabilitation centre in the country names as “Sweekaar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences (SARS)”. Sweekar is the Multi-speciality Rehabilitation Centre in the Country with 25 Service units which are the befitting laboratories to the training colleges in developing professionals, where all type of disabled, of all age groups are served by all types of specialists under one roof. It is a model in the country, with a motto “Rehabilitation from Womb to Tomb”.
